Sports: My take on “Linsanity”
I’m gonna be blunt here—but I am so anti-bandwagon. I did not jump on the Tebow train and I am definitely not in the Insane Asylum with a case of Linsanity.
Noting against Jeremy Lin, but I have plenty of reasons not to be on the bandwagon. First of which is that I’m not a Knicks fan.
And I’ll admit it, he is a great basketball player and he’s been insanely good in his past couple of games, but there’s no need to jump the gun here. He’s only played a couple of games so far, I’d much rather test the waters before diving in on this Linderella story.
But that’s not to say that I don’t like Jeremy Lin, the guy is great at what he does and he seems like a cool guy. Plus, if you haven’t noticed, he’s breaking barriers. (Due to past events involving ESPN.com, I am not going to risk saying anything involving his ethnicity. But y’all know what I mean here…)
Plus, the dude is hilarious. Before his NBA claim to fame, Lin made this little video on how to get into Harvard. I’ll post it…eventually…
That’s all, peace out nuggets.
